SS ROTTERDAM 1959 model 1:400 (commission of 2025)

I’m thrilled to share the final update of year 2025 on my SS Rotterdam model, built in 1:400 scale!

Working on this custom-ordered project was a blast, especially tackling a “bigger” build like this. I’m really proud of how it turned out, and while I’ll miss seeing it in my studio, I know it’ll shine in its new owner’s home.

Crafting this iconic ship in its cruise livery was a fresh challenge for me. I loved adding extra details like the radar domes, tenders, and aft windscreens, and the midnight blue hull gives it a classy, elegant look. The photoshoot I did today captures it all perfectly—check out the images below!
