MS Ambience 2022

One of my favorite 90’s cruise ships, being styled after a dolphin by architect Renzo Piano back in the day.

Luckily the ship has survived the pandemic shutdown of the cruise industry. After a full refurbishment she will be ready to enter service as the new Ambassador Cruise Line flagship MS AMBIENCE. 

To honor the maiden voyage of MS AMBIENCE and start of Ambassador Cruises, I drew this illustration last year (2022).

I have always been a big fan of the ship and photographed her many times over the past 23 years. Taking this photo of the Ship with my illustration was a lot of fun (though extremely cold that day in Amsterdam).
